Holiday flat above the roofs of Monschau Our holiday flat, newly furnished and renovated in 2019, is only about 300m from the historic centre of Monschau. The "High Fens", the Eifel National Park and the Rursee are within reach!The holiday flat has a car parking space Garage for bicycles or motorbikes availableThe cosy and lovingly furnished flat above the roofs of Monschau has a living space of approx. 50 sqm and is suitable for 2-3 persons. There is a bathroom with shower and toilet, a bedroom with a double bed (1.80 x 2m) and a single bed (0.90 x 2m) with open foot end. The kitchen is equipped with: cooker with ceramic hob, oven, fridge with freezer compartment, toaster, coffee machine, kettle and sufficient table / coffee service, glasses and cutlery. In the living room there are 2 cosy sofas, a SAT-TV and a radio. There is also a dining table for 4 people. WLAN in the entire flat. All rooms have a sloping roof, which makes for a special cosiness.The nearest larger shops such as Aldi, Lidl, drugstore (dm), Real, Dänisches Bettenlager, KIK, Ernstings Familie and DEPOT can be reached in about 3 km in the neighbouring village of Imgenbroich. You will also find doctors and a pharmacy there. You can start beautiful hikes right on the doorstep. As you always "climb" a hill around Monschau, you have a different marvellous view over picturesque Monschau every time. We will be happy to provide you with information about the hikes and where the best views can be found;-) The Eifel National Park with its Vogelsang Castle and the Dreiborn plateau can be reached by car in about 25 minutes. The Rursee lake is also worth a visit, about 35 minutes away by car.The old cloth-making town of Monschau has a lot to offer: the red house, the mustard mill with its own restaurant, the castle, where the famous classical music festival takes place every year, the quaint half-timbered houses along the Rur, small alleys that invite you to stroll and a variety of restaurants and cafés. Please ask us, we will be happy to give you insider tips!!! There is also a tourist office, a savings bank, a bakery and a small grocery shop.
